Twist range - simplicity and reliability.
Simple, waterproof and reliable – these are the main features of panniers from the Twist collection. Roll-down closure system, an inner coating made of leakproof material, sealed seams - all these make this model truly waterproof.
The panniers are made of Cordura, the fabric famous for its legendary resistance to abrasion. The Twist collection is ready to face the most difficult conditions, like pointed rocks in Tibet or prickly plants in Morocco. You can fasten additional pockets or lids, therefore creating a Twist pannier combination for your own needs.
Expert range - panniers for extra punishment:
Cordura fabric is used which creates an advanced, waterproof model with a roll up chamber closure to protect your belongings from the heaviest rain.
The Expert is a module collection; its unstrapped lids and pockets make the panniers perfectly adjustable to any needs and any road.
It features unbreakable stiff plates and buckles as well, as solid mounting system were tested in the most challenging expeditions.
Dry range - low price and weight:
The Dry panniers were designed for use in extremely wet conditions, whether from heavy rains or drenching streams. Securo 680 fabric coated both on the inside and outside simply does not let water stay on the surface, let alone soak through.
The pannier panels are welded which takes care of waterproofing the seams because there are no seams to waterproof and the additional strengths of the DRY system are low price and weight, plus high load capacity.
Materials:
Cordura
Polyamide is considered to be the most durable material for making professional panniers and bags and the material is resistant to mechanical damage and its weave stops tears.
In addition, Crosso expose Cordura to a permanent impregnating coating on the inner side which a polymer resin and on the outside they coat it with Teflon which makes water bead on the surface without being getting through.
Securo 680
A Polyester fabric coated with PVC which is less durable than Cordura but thanks to its smooth nap, it’s easier to clean and is totally waterproof.
Other Components:
Straps: Polypropylene, 2.5 cm or 2 cm wide, black.
Buckles and fasteners: From well-known producer 2M.
Zips - used in safe hatch pocket: Heavy Duty, weave grade 7, reinforced zip heads and convenient pullers.
Stiff plates: Polypropylene plates, 2 or 3 mm thick, virtually unbreakable, with shape memory.
Reflective panels: Firmly attached to the material, visible from up to 600 metres.
Threads: Polyamide, very durable.
Hooks and fittings: Steel, double zinc-plated, 2 mm thick. Virtually indestructible, attached with double steel thread.
Seams: Hot sealing seams for total waterproofness, in the Dry panniers the panels are heat welded.
Colours: Here they are; the options for Cordura first and then the Securo 680 for the Dry series.
