“Addictions can be very, very bad but addiction itself is not bad.

It’s a case of what you’re addicted to.

You better live each day like it’s your last, ‘cos one day you’re going to be right”.

Ray Charles.

Winter storm warning in effect …

And his name is Remi Meum and he's as good as it gets with a snowkite.

Here’s a snapshot of what he's been up to .....

Not Remi in this one but too good to resist. Image by Greg Gnecco.

Euro trippin’ …..

The pic below is a fantastic example of what enough cash, a van, some boats, some mates and the open road looks like. As good as it gets here.

North American Champs

Always wondered what a whitewater Novelty Cheque is?

KAYAK SURF

Run by Luis Pedro in Portugal, his site showcases this part of the tribe at play here.

Lots of different nationalities, surf spots, pics, videos and gear; it's well worth dropping in and seeing this side of kayaking, with some superb pics in the Images area.

"Podemos dizer, sem receio de exageros, que existem dezenas de modelos de caiaques com as mais variadas formas e feitios de acordo com as exigências de cada canoísta"

is able to be unlocked from your frontal lobe.

“Via Ferrata” meaning “iron road or way” in Italian, was conceived during World War 1 when the Italian and Austrian forces were engaged in ferocious battles to gain control of their frontiers mainly in the mountainous Dolomite region.

This approach shown below towards personal safety given you a thirst? What about a bit of a history lesson on Via Ferrata’s in text form and the Chinese approach in pics? So harness up, you know you want to satisfy that thirst for the absurdly amateur and be rewarded with a hot chai at the summit tea house.

Outstanding stuff … crew just wandering around on a labyrinth of crap slapped together and on a rock that looks about as high as Half Dome. (Good looking granite though and it's here).

WHITEWATER CZECH

That Lasko guy again. Instead of thinking he’ll be thrashed like the family mule if he screws up any part of this line, he’s actually thinking what he should have for lunch and then maybe have a little sleep afterwards.

In fact he has neither, here for more …
