Anthony Yap, Titan Kayaks
I’m an outgoing 26 year old athlete with a focus on professionalism. For the past 8 years I have been at the top of the kayak game as a key international figure who consistently pushes the limits of gear design, move innovation and exploration.
The most important part about my paddling is my reputation to consistently deliver big rides that get people talking. I focus on big aerial moves and quick routines, always trying to push the competition as much as possible.

While not a lot of information has been released about my most current project, I thought it was about time to throw up a few sneak peeks and behind the scene shots from my latest creation within Titan Kayaks.
Titan Kayaks has been an ongoing dream for me both as an athlete and designer, and starting from January 2010 the wheels were set in motion to make this dream a reality. While the actual release of the company was set for Worlds 09’ and more commercially the 2010 season, it was impossible to keep this little beauty a secret, so here are the first released shots from the shaping room.
After many years of mulling over the idea in my head, I finally decided the time has come to break away and start something new. All I want to do is bring something new and exciting to the kayak community that people feel they can become involved in.
Titan Kayaks is an athlete and team-based company with the simple idea of producing great kayaks for everyone to enjoy ..... Yappa.
I want to push the evolution of the sport, bringing new dimensions to what kayakers have to choose from but to be more specific, within our first year we will focus on bringing out a group of top notch freestyle kayaks, followed by a world class creeker, all designed by top athletes within the community.
